Glob Goals ESL….how does it work?

In this article Raymond Van Neste writes about new creative possibilities which can be included in the process of learning English

Learning English is not easy. So, the United Nations Global Goals (also known as the Sustainable Development Goals) are a wonderful source of information that can be used as inspiration (themes) for the teaching of English Language..

Young people want more and more to find out what is happening around the world, especially in terms of human need.  There are big question marks!  Why is the world that we live in in 2026, so much in need?

Students of English language love to discuss and to think about all that is going on; they want to ‘think’, ‘speak’, ‘listen’, ‘read and write’.  In this sense, Global Goals ESL’s secondary purpose is to offer young people a source of information to help them to work and function more effectively in a future world.

Global Goals ESL, is now a group on facebook

(Please note that the content and details of controversial Global issues, while learning, are limited according to student’s age and English level).
